Not Able to print Japan Text

Hi All,

I am trying to get the japan text from DB(SQLSERVER),and try to print to output using interwoven perl iwpt_output, iam getting empty values.

But if we have english content its outputting the value.

Any help to overcome this situation.

Is your database encoded to utf-8?

iwpt_output is expecting utf-8 by default although I would expect the iwpt_output to give you some output even if it is corrupt characters.

Check the encoding defined. Are you pushing the content to DB and then retrieving it for generate/preview? Do you see the ascii number if you view source? (Assuming that you are publishing japanese text from your DCR)
