Teamsite Not starting

Hi,

I have added new custom menu and then executed make_toolkit, the build was successfull however i could not able to log in to teamsite as i got the following error message

The Interwoven Web Daemon was unable to contact the Interwoven Servlet Engine. The Interwoven Servlet Engine may be down, or running on an unexpected host or port. Please contact your system administrator.

I have tried iwreset with -a , it was not successful. I got the following error in iwserver.log

iwproxy: fatal: relocation error: file ../iwproxy: symbol cerr: referenced symbol not found and also there is connection refused error in servletd.log

Catalina.stop: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused

Validate ur code again, if the xml is not valid Teamsite gui will not come up.

Contact support, you may have corrupted (zero-length) Apache's binaries.
Meanwhile, look at [thread=21904]this[/thread] thread, see if it's similar to your case, what logs to check etc

try shutting down iwov eventsubsystem service then try iwreset -a, you can also try reverting the custom menu changes (reverting ui_custom.xml ... ) and try to run maketool again.
