Event Subsystem database priviledges

I am connecting to an Oracle 11g database, and things work fine if I grant the connecting user Connect and DBA priviledges. However, if DBA priviledges are removed, I get "table does not exist" errors.

Do I need DBA priviledges to the connecting Event Subsystem account in order to allow the Event Subsystem to run properly?

Yes, the user used to connect to the DB needs full (DBA) privs, which I believe is fairly well documented in the install and/or admin manuals.

Actually got around it by writing the appropriate "grants" on the existing database.
