Is there a way to dynamically alter the Quick Search Query in D2

Dear Experts,

Currently the Filters are applied on doclist Widget but not applied to Quick Search. We would like to force apply the filter selections to Quick Search any suggestions.

Can we alter the Query or process the results returned from the search by any D2 customization?
