Hi Experts,
We are installing xPlore 22.1 on new servers as part of our migration to latest Documentum version. Since our index size was huge (~600gb) we decided to split it into 3 collections. Now when we are reindexing the repository again the reindexing speed is very poor.
Even for our test environment with just 1GB of data its indexing at speed of 0.3 docs/sec (70 bytes/second). We have tried to max out the daemon count, installed additional CPS , allocated more memory to dsearch and index agent but none of them seems to help.
One thing we noticed was CPU utilization is not increasing much (less than 20%) even after maxing out cps_daemons.
In our dev environment with same configuration (16gb RAM and 4 CPU cores) its indexing at speed of 30k bytes/sec with no performance tweak's and no additional collections.
Are collections known to cause performance impact during reindexing? Anything else we are missing.
