Invoking SAVE event on clicking callout button

I've a callout button in my form. This on clicking triggers a workflow which eventually datadeploys my DCR. But before this, I want to save the DCR after passing whatever validations are in place. IWDatacapture.Save() is not a solution here as it saves the DCR skipping the validation part.

Is there a way to invoke one of the SAVE events on clicking this button?

You can check all the validation part using FormApi. Before calling

IWDatacapture.Save()

you have to validate the elements.
Because

IWDatacapture.Save()

directly invoke the

onSaveDone

event.
