Hello Experts,
We are using Documentum 22.1 Enterprise system. The Validation environment data needs to be migrated to Dev Environment. We are planning to use the repository cloning approach.
Below are the details of the complete requirement:
- Server A (Validation DB) Repo_val
- Server B (Dev DB) Repo_Dev
As per the cloning approach we doing the below steps :
- Creating new repo on Dev with same repository name and repository id as Val Repo_Val_Clone
- Copying the DB and content from Repo_val to Repo_Val_Clone
- Renaming the Repo_Val_Clone
Kindly let me know if this approach works fine. This is a Linux system and I have less experience with Linux working. Could you please highlight the details I should be focusing on with respect to below point :
- Installation owner of both the repositories
- Docbase owner and password
- Docbase ID which should be same as Val
- Docbase name : same as val
