You need to provide more details.

1. In your DCT, create an onSave event using Form API's call-server mechanism that fires off custom script/code
OR in your PT on generate call this custom script/code.
- NOTE: pass DCR information based on your needs -- either the DCR Path or individual fields.

2. In your custom code, do following:
a. Create DB connection or obtain a connection from a poll.
b. Execute your stored procedure.
c. Close / release the connection.

Alternatively you could use DataDeploy to do this for you as well.

do you want to deploy data in DCR to database? If yes, simply use DataDeploy.

Most folks here are pretty friendly, but you're pretty much asking someone to do your job for you. So you're lucky vpatel is a nice guy and has given you an outline of what to do, but in terms of actual code to do it, there are probably 100 different ways to do so. Perl/CGI? Java? .NET? PHP?

Note that DataDeploy is a licensed product. If you don't have a license, it's easy enough to do the first part of what vpatel described. If you're good with javascript, you can use FormAPIs callServer function. If you're not, it might be easier to put the code in your presentation template, if you're using a presentation template that is.

All that to say, the more info you provide, the more likely someone is going to get specific with you.

Question to Bjorn regarding licensing comment: Can you clarify licensing point? Most organization's usually purchase OpenDeploy (with DataDeploy) when acquiring TeamSite. DataDeploy is not licensed separately.

Yeah - I guess my point isn't so much about licensing in itself as it is that if your company doesn't currently license WHATEVERDeploy and doesn't want to pay to do so, you can still pump stuff out to a database quite easily using JDBC or whatever DB calls you like from your language of preference. Also, if you have complex data mappings between your content and tables in a DB, sometimes it's easier to write your own than to try to make it fit into DataDeploy.

I am not sure if this is totally true. Yeah from install perspective, it is a single installer and DD is installed with OD but it may be enabled / disabled based on the type of license that you have. However, you still have to have a license where DD is enabled if you want to use it.
