perl code for reading excel sheet and generate dcrs in TeamSite

Hi,

Basically as per requirement, I have a excel sheet (containing, content records in the form of rows and columns in excel sheet) (we can say each row in sheet represent a dcrs, containing all the required information for making a dcr in teamsite). And I need to create the Dcrs in TeamSIte for these records present in excel sheet.
So is it possible to do this? if yes can some one please provide me the code and right approach for this requirement or any suggestion which could help me in full filling this requirement.

And if any one have any better approach for this requirement can also share through this forum.
