404 when previewing ASP pages

I recently installed TeamSite 6.7.2 on a Windows 2003 R2 Standard Edition SP1 server. After installation I created a new workarea and a simple ASP (classic) file with a basic include directive and a basic HTML file. The HTML file is displaying fine, but when I try to view the ASP file I get a 404 error.

I have taken the following actions with no success:

Under Web Serivces Extension - Allow Active Server Pages and Allow Server Side Includes
Added the iwproxy_isapi.dll ISAPI filter

If I create a new site outside of the iwmount directory ASP pages are displaying correctly. Anyone else ever have this issue?

KB 49749 will help, this thread talks about the config.

I read through the KB article before but that didn't seem to help. The thread on DevNet you pointed me to ended up being the solution. It looks like the Default Web Site that gets created must have the IWAM user applied instead of the TSIMP user. I never came accross that thread when searching so thanks for pointing it out.

I thought that was in the KB. Oh well. BTW do not mess with the password settings of those users. An IT person set one of them and then every time someone hit the virtual site users kept getting popups saying user/password.

At the end, for that server, I set up a virtual site running on port 84 and used the proxy to remap.
