Capturing Due Date in workflow screen

Hi All,
I have a requirement as follows:

A reviewer will initiate a workflow.In the instantiation screen he will select an author and give a due date.Then he'll submit.Now this due date should get reflected in the author's "my open task list" in the workflow screen.

Can anybody help me how to capture this due date from instantiation screen and populate it in the workflow screen's "due date" column?

Hi Anurag,

In WFM, go to the tree section, click on Workflow Model. Now in Properties section declare a Global variable for due date of configurable type. Then click on text box of Due Date field. Now assign it to due date configurable variable which is your declare as a global variable.

Now make changes in custom instantiation for due date capturing.

Now it will appear on due date column of workflow screen.
