Is there a way to show the list of public searches without using the default SearchWidget?
Hi,
I have a question about the usage of the D2-Smart View widgets/tiles. I want to change the main landing page by replacing the default SearchWidget with a "button" that opens the list of the saved/public searches, just like clicking on the title of the default Search widget.
I created an OpenURL widget with the URL that looks like https://<hostname>/D2-Smartview/ui/?skipsso=true#d2/savedsearch?page=&widget_name=search&widget_param=%7B%22group-id%22%3A%22PRIVATE_SEARCH%22%7D). This link works but only when the default Search widget is also present on the landing page, probably because of the widget_name=search in the URL. If I remove the default Search Widget from the landing page XML (even if all the related widgets are configured and enabled in D2-Config matrix for the users), the link stops working.
I am wondering if there is a good way to achieve this — replace the default Search widget with a button that goes to the list of public/saved searches. Appreciate any response.
Regards,
YL
