It is technically trivial. In TS it is also very wrong conceptually. What is your Use Case?
If you have to "Tag" your output with the information known at generation time use Extended Attributes

I am curious to why you would do this too?
Usually you would use the values from the dcr to have your tpl output....
But you can just use perl in tpl, you should be able to open the file and write information to it, but you need to make the file still has a valid xml or dcr format.
