XML DCR name in Component

Hi,
A quick question, how can we get name of DCR in component?

My component's Content xml has DCR datum type which includes XML formatted DCR. If it is IWOV formatted then we can easily get DCR name by /Properties/Data/Datum/DCR/record/@name in component.

Anyone have any idea how to get DCR name of dcr is in XML?

You can use FORMAPI, perhaps
IWDatacapture.getDCRPath()
and then extract it from the output

Just curious, what does your (SiteMap related) External has to do with iw-ls-page-name?

Back to the original question, you DO NOT necessarily need the External -- depends on what you are trying to do. External can definitely get you the page name but you DO NOT necessarily need it.

1. If you already have an External in you component then try something like this:

<xsl:value-of select="/Properties/Data/External/Parameters/Datum[@Name='iw-ls-page-name']" />

NOTE: I am pretty sure that the XPath is correct but validate it against your specific component.

2. Alternatively, you can use the context token to get similar information:

<xsl:value-of select="$CONTEXT{pageName}" />

I believe Parag is talking about getting the DCR Name/Path within a given component -- not sure how FormAPI will help here.

Parag, Let your user do some additional typing. Create a field item and let your user type the DCR file name.
Access the item using your XSL.
