If i want to use getDCRName() as the value of one field when save the form, but always get null, in which phase can get this value? i.e onSave, onSaveDone
Please show the actual code you have written to provide context for the question you are asking.
function handleOnSaveDone() {IWDatacapture.getItem("/teaser/file_name").setValue(IWDCRInfo.getDCRName());}
file_name is a one field of the form,
File Name
function handleOnSaveDone() {IWDatacapture.getItem("/teaser/file_name").setValue(IWDCRInfo.getDCRName());}
function handleOnSaveDone() {IWDatacapture.getItem("/teaser/file_name").setValue(IWDCRInfo.getDCRName());alert("success! FileName:"+IWDCRInfo.getDCRName()); }
use above method function handleOnSaveDone() {IWDatacapture.getItem("/teaser/file_name").setValue(IWDCRInfo.getDCRName());alert("success! FileName:"+IWDCRInfo.getDCRName());} now can getDCRName like, and also can see the name was filled in the field. see attach image.but after saved, then open this dcr, there's no value in this field, this value was not saved, in fact.
function handleOnSaveDone() {IWDatacapture.getItem("/teaser/file_name").setValue(IWDCRInfo.getDCRName());alert("success! FileName:"+IWDCRInfo.getDCRName());}
Read my previous post. In the current state, you are saving the DCR and then updating the file_name field and never saving that update.
