Copying Taxonomy across different branches

We are using Teamsite 6.7.2 and Livesite 3.1 with OpenDeploy 6.2.

We have created taxonomy by introducing custom taxonomies as siblings to Content Type and Content Category taxonomy. Is it possible to use this taxonomy for another branch.

Unless you know really what you are doing, I would advise against this. Generally speaking, LS taxonomies are used for Targeting. Each node in a given taxonomy has an ID that is assigned to it automatically behind the scene. By copying the taxonomy, you are technically copying the same nodes with same IDs across multiple branches and sites. This may lead to some unpredictable behavior with ID conflicts all over the place. There may be other implications.
