CreateProcess failure

We have TeamSite 6.7.2 installed a Windows XP machine (SP2).
After installing some patches i get the error.

'CreateProcess' failure in the iw logs.
------------------------------------------

Changing.
C:\Interwoven\TeamSite/iw-perl/bin/iwperl
to
C:\Interwoven\TeamSite/iw-perl/bin/iwperl.exe works fine.
But that change would cost us too much.

surprisingly, the patches installed on another Windows server having interwoven (same configuration) did not lead to the issue there.

Does anybody know what would causes this error?

If perl programs are run through command line they run fine without the exe. The issue is in our custom cgi and perl scripts that do not have the extension.

You have a phantom perl file

look for this file:

C:\Interwoven\TeamSite/iw-perl/bin/iwperl

with no .exe

and delete it
