what port are you trying to connect?

Surender

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
I am using port 80

namithapai

I had the same problem today when trying to connect, but I was using the wrong port. Port 80 seems right, also the SSH has to be unchecked.

Guess you need an expert to answer the question now.

does any body have an idea why I am getting these errors?

namithapai

Do you have all the permissions required for teamsite logins? Another problem I had faced yesterday was that using regular login I was unable to publish, though I could connect. But using the "master login" helped.

I am sorry I am not able to read and understand the errors from the log. Also the guide has a troubleshooting section.

You can also try contacting Interwoven Tech Support.

Surender

Hi Npai,

I have master previleges and trying to connect with my user credentials only.
any how thanks for your reply.
I will contact interwoven tech team.

Try to look at the following kb article:

https://support.interwoven.com/kb/kb_show_article2.asp?ArticleID=61130

Pretty much, it says to put:
ts.server.os= (your OS)
in iw-home/cssdk/cssdk.cfg file.

options are sol, win, and lin.

Then restart your cssdk (just run iwreset -a)

Surender

No luck.
I have added ts.server.os=sol in cssdk.cfg and ran iwreset -a

I ma getting same error
com.interwoven.cssdk.common.CSException: cannot create session string with domain(Failure in operation)

Are you able to use the same credentials to login to Teamsite directly? Are you specifying the correct domain in your WFM - login screen?

Surender

Yes. I am using the same login details to login teamsite and specifying the correct domain name in WFM login screen(cross checked with tslicinfo details)

Have you made sure that you have WorkflowAdmin rights on the iwadmin branch to which you need to publish / submit your workflows?

Surender

Hi Ghoti,

I have "WorkflowAdmin" rights for /iwadmin, /iwadmin/main, /iwadmin/main/workflowModels branches.

Surender

Hi,
did anybody come across the same kind of issue.
I am clue less and not moving a head from here.

Surender

Hi All,

I found this error in TeamSite CSSDK log (iw-home/local/logs/iwui/cssdkssc.log)

Fri Sep 25 11:52:46 2009 WARNING: Processing - /iw/services/cm/2.0/accessservice: WASP_GenericFaultException("Failure in operation") Serializing it to a SOAPFault.

I dont know what does it mean.
Can anybody know of this error?

anisha

Hi Surender,
I haven't seen this error before and I doubt if anyone would have come across this error given the limited number of people that use WFM. I would start with common basic debugging steps..
1. Do you have any other team members (that are using the same desktop and server environment as you) for whom this is working?
2. Can you connect to a different Teamsite evrionment (if any)?
3. Are you able to work in offline mode (may be to eliminate any WFM installer issues)?
4. Have you already tried uninstalling and re-installing the WFM client?

I used WFM 1.0 with TS 6.7.1 SP1 on windows XP SP2 machine without any issues.

Surender

Hi Anisha,
Thanks for your reply. Here is my response.

1. Do you have any other team members (that are using the same desktop and server environment as you) for whom this is working?

No . This is the first time we are trying to use WFM

2. Can you connect to a different Teamsite evrionment (if any)?

I tried connecting both DEV and PROD TS env. but no luck I got the same error

3. Are you able to work in offline mode (may be to eliminate any WFM installer issues)?

Yes. I am able to work in offline mode.

4. Have you already tried uninstalling and re-installing the WFM client?

Yes, I uninstalled WFM and installed again.

Thanks

anisha

can you attach your cssdk.cfg file by removing any sensitive/confidential info? Also, did you try installing the WFM client on the Teamsite server itself? Are you using CSSDK too? If so, are you able to connect to the server using SOAP or JNI?

Surender

Hi Anisha,

Thanks once again.
I am attaching cssdk.cfg file here. I removed only the license key from the file but I think that licensekey is common for all TS 6.7.1 users , right?

Please let me know if you find something weird in cssdk.cfg.

Thanks

anisha

Surender, one difference I found is that defaultTSServer has a value in my environment and it is empty in your environment. My only other thought is if the soap license key is good? Can you write a simple java program and run it to verify successful connection to Teamsite through cssdk?

Surender

Hi All,

I resolved the issue. The problem is the "Domain" field in the login screen.
The Domain I was using, the value I got from tslicinfo CLT. But I came to know from Interwoven Tech support team was, I should use the TS host name(If your TS is installed on Unix platform). That resolved my issue.

thanks anisha and thanks all...
