Can somebody help to know if we can capture the result of a DNR script?
We want to return a value from the deploy and script to indicate its success or failure.
If yes then how can we do it?

You should spend a bit more time reading the documentation.
A DNR script can explicitly indicate failure, otherwise it is implicitly considered to have succeeded - no additional information is passed from the DNR to the deployment process.

The information can be found in chapter 4 "Deploy and Run" in the OpenDeploy Deployment Configuration Guide (for OD 6.2.1 at least)
