DCR locked

Hi,

We have a strange issue here.

We have different WA in a branch

These have dcr and one tpl.

Sometimes when users try to edit the dcr in their WA, it is shown as locked by some one else.
But in fact we could not find the locked dcr in any other WA.

Only thing we noticed is, we had a new version of tpl in STAGING ? but the users did not taken a getlatest.

Will this create a lock or prevent the user from editing their DCR ?

Check the group permissions of the DCRs, and see if the user is part of the group, I have seen this kinda issue earlier, once I added the user to the group the problem resolved. These issue genrally occur when user do copy to between branches and use "Overwrite all files " instead of "Update files that are out of date, and manually resolve modifications that are in conflict" this over writes the permssions and if a user who has access to only one group and not part of the source group ( from where the files are copied ) tries to edit he will see the error which u r facing.
