Visual Format inserting "about:" in front of a link

syim

Does anyone have problem with Visual Format inserting "about:" in front of a link such as followings:

<img alt="" src="about:/images/a.jpg"/>
<a href="about:/Home">Home</a>

This problem does not occur on all the PCs. Anyone knows what could be the cause of this problem?

FYI, we are using TeamSite 6.5 SP3.

It might be happening bcz of improper installation of the VFE editor on PC.
can you try reinstalling the VFE editor and see?

I'm having the same problem. I have noticed that if a TeamSite user is using IE8 whem making edits, the "about:" text is inserted. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi

We bumped into the same problem when IE was upgraded to 8. Anyone know how to fix this? Any thoughts are welcome.

I've recently been testing our TS 6.5 SP2 with an IE8, and I noticed the same...

I was thinking that perhaps it was related to the problem of that troublesome Windows Security patch of September 2009 which broke Visual Format.

I only have access to desktop with
* Win XP SP2 + IE6 - without that Security patch = OK
* Win XP (SP unknown) + IE8 + that Security patch = broken (bad tags inserted + about: inserted on images)

I remember there was a long thread about that patch - but I haven't been on the forum for a while and I don't know the end of it, though I understood that VF on TS 6.5 was terminally broken :mad:
