Preview of html in browse dialog box

Has anyone tried to tweak the OOTB image preview functionality of the IWOV browser dialog so that HTML can be previewed not just images?

The scenario would be that user is trying to make a reference to generated output and instead of just looking for the filename it could be helpful to see the actual output in the preview window.

When browsing for a DCR to reference, possibly the preview could be of a some generic view of that DCR that gives end user some confirmation that the DCR is the one he/she is looking for.

This solution should work for both Forms Publisher and SitePublisher.
