Deploy Content rules

I have created content rules in teamsite and associated the rules to a .page. I wanted to deploy the .page along with the content rule to another Teamsite server using Open deploy. I can see that the "TeamSite/LiveSite/RuleIds" are copied over but i can't see the rule if i click on "Manage content rules". Where are these rules stored in teamsite?

Can we deploy content rules from one TS server to another?

Iam using TS 6.7.2, LS 3.1.

I am on TS6.7.1 LS3.0, for this configuration, rules are stored under iw-home/tmp/LiveSite. The TS location where the rules get stored could also be configured during the installation althought I am not too sure about this customization.
You can check the above location for the rules.

This is NOT totally correct.

If you are using OOTB PLC WF then rules are automatically deployed for you.

Thanks for the response.

We are using OOTB PLC workflow to deploy the rules from Teamsite to Livesite runtime and it works fine. Currently we need to deploy these content rules from Dev Teamsite server to QA Teamsite server.

Does your suggestion holds good for TS to TS server as well?

If yes, should i copy the PLC workflow into a custom one and modify the deployment configuration files it so that i deploy to a new target location? Also where should i deploy the rules files on QA Teamsite server?

OOTB PLC WF is configured and primarily meant to be used for TS to LS (or any runtime system) and NOT TS to TS deployment.

Ideally, your rules should be created on your production TS system avoiding the whole need for moving the rules around. Since you are on TS 6.x your rules are still iLog based. If you understand iLog and its integration with TS, you could mess around with it -- iLog stores almost all of its items in a relatively "cryptic" manner.

in SitePublisher rules are stored withing the Teamserver Store (part of Ilog rules management). so you will need to export your rules for your development system using Rules studio and then import them into your QA system.

Could you please confirm the location of rules on TS server from where the rules get deployed to runtime?
The above location which I mentioned is TeamSite location of rules.
