How to copy all the contents of one work area of a branch to another work of another

Hi,

I need to copy all the contents of one WORKAREA/work from one branch to another branch. I tried using the command

ERROR:02102: /iwmnt/hip/main/us/microsites/WORKAREA/work/ does not specify a file or directory
12:12 PM iwoven@prs-lin-318-nj3th-peshr (/iwmnt/hip/main/us/microsites)10$

But it gives me an error. What would be the best way to do this. I also need to maintain the external attributes and not the version history.

Another branch ? Yes, another store ? No (that is a serious pain)

The same issue is true for iwcp, if you are trying to copy to different stores it will not work.

OK, TS is handling (very badly) the wildcard. Usually a cp command takes all parameters and copies them to the last one

This is taking #1 and copying it to #2. So if you have /a and /b in your workarea it copies /a into /b

(I just did it on my Linux install)

you will need to write a script to do a copy for each folder in the initial workarea.

Also call support and file a bug on iwcp. It may not recognize the wildcard, but it will break something.
