How do we view the datacapture.cfg file from teamsite, do we need to download to machine and look it.

You can view the source code by selecting the datacapture.cfg and clicking Actions->View Source. This is very basic, you should get and read the user guide documentation.

If you were using Windows then configure in IIS Server for Teamsite store as cfg viewed as xml(MIME Extension). In Unix some other process should be followed to achieve.
