I have installed OpenText Intelligent Capture 25.4 along with the unattended modules, including Standard Import, Standard Export, Standard OCR, Intelligent Capture Database, and the required supporting libraries obtained from the official OpenText distribution.
The Designer application is successfully connected to the OpenText Capture Server, and the connection status is displayed with a green indicator.
Within Designer, I created an Import Profile with the basic configuration settings. In this profile, I specified:
- A watch folder from which documents should be picked up.
- An output folder for processing results.
- A polling interval of 20 seconds.
I then generated a CPImport file from this Import Profile (please refer to the screenshot below for reference). Both the Standard Import Service and the OpenText Capture Service are running successfully.
For this proof of concept (POC), my objective is to verify the end-to-end functionality by confirming that documents placed in the watch folder are automatically picked up and processed, resulting in the creation of batches within Intelligent Capture. However, the expected batch creation is not occurring.
Capture flow with no IA values:
After successfully saving the configuration, I deployed it to the Capture Server. In the Administration Server, I can see the TestingStandardImport service/profile, which indicates that the deployment was successful.
However, when I place multiple files in the configured input/watch folder, no batches are created and the documents are not being processed as expected.
