Upload button functions in toolbar

i am trying to upload a file in the xform and i needed to add few chnages to the upload button in the script , so the thing is when ever i try to upload any files it didnt show any message and the in logs its showing upload1.setValue() is not a proper function , so can anyone help me with this for taking files into the form and pass this function.

(upload1 is my ID for upload).

setValue() function is not a valid function available on upload control. If you planning to upload a file, you can use the below sample. Here UploadBtn is the ID of a button that starts your upload. Your request payload should be as per the below contract consisting of key="Upload:FileName1" and <upload>Upload:FileContent1</upload>. Upload control framework automatically takes care of updating the necessary values and should fire the request.
