I have a CGI-CALLOUT in the form to allow users load updated information when clicked. And my question is, is it possible to invoke the CGI-CALLOUT once automatically when the form start?
You can use FormAPI's event handler mechanism to do this. It may not necessarily "invoke the CGI-CALLOUT" but you can execute that same code with your event handler.
Thanks. But I couldn't find any FormAPI's event handler can execute the "ipl" file. The following is the cgi-callout tag in my current data form.< cgi-callout url="/iw-bin/iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi/cs_cgi_whatsnews.ipl" label="Load Updated Data" window-features="width=10, height=10,resizable=no,toolbar=no,scrollbars=no"/>
