iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi does not wraps custom cgi files if they are present in iw-bin

When using iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi, it requires that the cgi file that it wraps should be in iw-bin folder. We have a folder/dir in which our custom code is present.
But when we use the wrapper
eg.
/iw-bin/iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi/folder/filename
the wrapper throws an error.
we need to move all our custom code to the iw-bin folder, which is not a good idea to structure custom code.

Does anybody know how to reference custom structured code through iw_cgi_wrapper ?

As far as I know there are no supported mechanisms to do that.

You can perhaps try to code your own redirecting broker and pass "real" CGI Name as a parameter to
be executed - something like ...iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi/myBroker.cgi?cgibin=folder/filename. Not sure
how feasible that might be in your case though
