Custom Attribute at Edition level

Hi,

Can we add a custom attribute while cutting an edition? If yes how?

Also, I see name and description form fields while manually creating an edition, can we create a third field as well there? If yes, please let me know.

It might help if you told us what you were looking to add...

I just checked on my 672SP1 Windows dev box, and it appears that (at least in that version) you can use iwextattr to set an EA on an edition - so if you were talking about an EA, yes you can do it.

I don't believe there is any supported way to modify the OOTB GUI screen for creating an edition, however you can always write your own custom GUI for creating editions - though the information you set as an EA (if that's what you want to do) will not show up in the GUI when viewing a list of editions - you would need to create your own custom UI for viewing editions to get that.
