OD Deploy Task Help

Please can some one point me to the relevant API for cssdk to be used to trigger an OD xml for deploying the content from a source to a target server. I'm quite new to CSSDK.

I have coded and tested the script standalone and passed in dynamic parameters for sourcearea and filelist to be deployed as command line arguments. This works good.

CSSDK is an API primarily for TeamSite. However, you can use CSSDK API and create a WF External task / custom menu item and have that kick off OD Deployment using OD web services. You'll have to setup the OD web services client first.

You can find the opendeploy cssdk jars in the following directories (if you have OpenDeploy installed)

od-home/websvc/1.1/examples/client_java/jars
od-home/websvc/1.0/examples/client_java/jars

If you run it outside of TeamSite, then they will deploy just fine. If you run it within TeamSite workflow, you'll get some axis.jar incompatibility.

To get around the axis library conflicts, you should compile your OD WS Client against the axis library used by TS. Look at this post.
