Issue in file preview

We are facing a strange issue where when we try to preview a page(php) by clicking on it in Teamsite workarea, its not displaying correctly, but when we download that page and then preview it by selecting that file in Local file manager and clicking the "Preview" button, the page gets displayed correctly.

Any pointers to counter this issue will be highly appreciated!!
