Can anyone assist me with trying to do a search in Sitepublisher. I am trying to generate a seach with the following:

Add

<form .... type="external"> so that LiveSite knows to not process it.

You can also do

<form action="$SUBMIT_URL[myparam=1&myparam=2]" method="POST"&gt...

$SUBMIT_URL will generate a correct action URL with component ID to post it into the current component and also allows you to add custom name/value pairs. (See the user's guide, this is available since TeamSite 6.7.2 and later I believe).
