Preserving EAs for deploying to Teamsite target

Can someone please point out if the Extended Attributes(EAs) of the files are preserved on the target Teamsite area if I deploy a DCR from a Teamsite source to a Teamsite target. My requirement is to submit the DCRs from 1 Teamsite area to another(on a different host) and then submit them to STAGING(on target Teamsite). If not, is there any way to achieve this?

P.S. I have already RTFM but it seems to be confusing.

Yes, you can.

You need to use applyExtAttrs="yes" in your deployment configuration file.
