Parameters to External Task from DCR

Hi All,

I have a field in DCR whose value needs to be passed to IPL (External Task). I am not sure how to achieve this.
If I run the IPL onSave, then I can use Form API and pass the value to the IPL as parameter. But when I want to use it in a Workflow external task, I am facing problem.

TS 6.7.2 on Linux

Any pointers would be helpful.

Your externaltask script should have a handle on the [Perl] TeamSite::WFtask object (or similar in Java) - from which it should be able to get a list of files associated with that task. It should then be able to parse the list of files to find DCRs, and from there it should be able to parse the DCR (using either a TeamSite module or standard XML parsing) to extract the necessary value which can then be used as needed in the rest of the script processing.
