Thanks in Advance!!!!!!!

We are currently in the process of upgrading to 7.2.2 from 4.6.2 SQL 2k8 / Win 2008 and opted to work with Autonomy Professional services to accomplish this due to all of the configurations and moving pieces. Since we are also upgrading to new hardware it was a straight forward initial install.
The parts that have been somewhat of a challenge have been migrating and upgrading the data in the database and configuring VideoLogger in a clustered environment.
The docs are on the Support site which you should have access to if your organization has purchased VMB.
I have found there are some pertinent details missing in the documentation which have been brought to the attention of Autonomy for future revision; If you plan on having a clustered system and VideoLogger is installed on a different server than MB assets server, make sure you have VideoLogger servers equal to the amount of Asset servers as according to support, there needs to be a 1-1 ratio.
There might be some issues around Java if you are using the file transfer applet that were not issue in 4.6.2; even with the same browser and Java version such as Firefox 3.6.23 "access denied (java.net.SocketPermission xx.xx.****.****:80 connect, resolve" ("x" is the Main VMB application server IP. I am currently working with support on this issue.

We are upgrading 4.6.2 to 7.2.2 and are doing a new install with moving the old data store and DB to the new environment. We have many configuration and permissions obstacles with LDAP (Notification server in RIA), previous customisations (no alternative in RIA, other then buying more software (LiquidOffice)) and external users but that was expected. Documentation is available in KB but search also some versions before because not all the doc's are available in the latest version.

Shawn,
Disable the Next-Gen java plug-in option in Advanced settings of JRE. This should let the applet to load.
Thanks,

rav,
Nope, that was the first thing we tried in I.E. and disabling in Firefox disables loading of the applet all together.
We were provided a patch from Autonomy which solved this issue for I.E. however now Firefox will not load any Applet, says Applets not allowed.
Still an open support ticket.
