Don't need Generate pop up window

Hi,

I am using Teamsite 6.7.1 SP1.
I have customised my 'Preview' button and generated the page at click of 'preview'.
Now on clicking 'Generate', i am getting the Generate pop up to enter the generated page name. But i don't need it as my file has already been generated.

Any pointers on how to restrict this?

Why not just get rid of the generate (or preview) option via the templating.cfg file?

Preview/Generate buttons must be there as some action is getting invoked on their click.
I just want that file should not be generated on click of generate and no generate pop up should come.

Then customize the generate function by catching the click yourself - if you did it for preview you should be able to do it for generate.

But i don't know how to stop a file from generation on click of generate.

why don't you get rid of the "generate" button like ghoti said and generate the file anytime someone does a save that way if they click preview/save or the finish/next button(depending on CCPro or CCStd) the file will always generate and you no longer need the generate button. That's what we do.

Assuming you are using FormAPI OnPreview/OnGenerate function, in that function after your logic is done put one additional line: return false;
