Urgent: Error in trying to open a form

Hi,
while i am trying to open a new form entry ,i am always getting this error "There must be one and only one element." No matter what entry i make into the datacapture.cfg. i have tried with the simplest of codes but to no avail.Can anyone please help me on the same .
Also in some cases, it throws the error as in
I need to get some work done urgently .

Check the entry for the template in templating.cfg file. Also, check if other templates are working or not?

If all other templates are not working well, then it has to be some misconfiguration in templating.cfg. After what changes are you getting this error?

Did you provide the exact error message?
"There must be one and only one element" sounds like it's missing some information (which might have been captured in one of the log files - iwtrace.log or iwui/servletd_out.log would be the places I'd look first)

The code you posted has at least one significant error: you declare the DCT as being conforming to

datacapture5.0.dtd

, but then you specify

min/max

attributes for your

container

. The addition of

min/max

attributes on

containers

(and

item

s) was added in

datacapture6.0.dtd

datacapture5.0.dtd

requires that you use a

replicant

element rather than (or within) a

container

element.

If you decide to go with

datacapture6.0.dtd

, I'd also recommend changing your DCT specification from

type="iwov"

type="xml"

in the

templating.cfg

as well as coding it correctly in the DCT.

I'm not sure if fixing the above issue will get rid of you error message, but it can't hurt...

I tried the alternatives that you have provided. Like in using "dtd 6.0 specification". But to no avail i have attached a screen shot of the error i am getting. Please help me out .
