Callserver issue while using data deploy.

Hello Everyone,

This is an interesting issue to me. Please read below and give your valuable suggestions.

My Scenario: I am using callserver to rerieve value of four fields from my dct then I am querrying database passing these four values as parameters to my od config.I am using db-to-xml wher in my result set is get saved in an xml file then I am rereding this xl file to get the value of a table's column.

Issue: Call back to Form API doesn't work for me after i get the result set from db and parse the xml generated to get the desired value.. But if I comment dd execute command then everything works fine.

I have attached my callserver script and form Api js to share better idea of my situation. Please have a look at it and suggest something.

Note: Alerts, any kind of javascript functions are not working at the bootom side code of callserver ipl.

Actually, you only attached two copies of the callserver script and not the FormAPI javascript code (other than what is embedded within the callserver script).

While I don't see anything glaringly obvious in the code that was posted, I see several places where I might change the code - and such changes might help resolve things:

Hi Ghoti,Thanks for your valuable suggestions. I did made changes in code as you pointed. It was indeed a cleaner way. But it has still not solved my issue. I am trying to look for some alternate ways to get my requirements done within time.But my mind & soul will not be in peace untill i find out why this code wasn't working as it runs everywhere minus dd execute step.Meantime your suggestions/pointer will be more than helpful.Thanks,Retesh

Hello Everyone,

I have resolved this issue. The problem got fixed by commenting the single line logger statement to print dd execute result. I was using Log module to print the logs. Dont know what exactly caused the issue earlier but what I can affirm is just my commenting a single line log statement same code has started working and returning the call back ti Form API.
