Generate issue

Hi All,

We are facing a strange issue in TeamSite. We had a disk failure this evening which was due to a hardware issue. Once it was fixed, i had done a iwserver service restart and then iwreset -a. Now we see when changes made to the file look updated in preview but while generating the changes are shown of the previous data. No updates are visible in generate while in preview they do appear.

Has any one faced such issue? Any pointers?

To add on the above when i generate the same file to some other location, the changes are displayed. However when i make some new changes, they reflect only in preview not in generate.

To add on the above when i generate the same file to some other location, the changes are displayed. However when i make some new changes, they reflect only in preview not in generate.

Check your browser's and your "customer web server"s caching properties - it could be that the data was changed on disk, but the browser (or web server) is showing old data for Generate - whereas Preview actually may be generating a newly named temporary file each time and thus avoiding the caching issue.
