I do not know if it is released officially yet. I am working on a project with it. Seems pretty good. The quality is much higher than a normal IWOV Beta. I am happy to see that.

It is mostly GUI changes. The OD Admin UI is gone, integrated with the normal admin UI. I did notice that, by default only master has LiveSite/SP abilities, so the project had configured everyone as master. I added edit page, create page, etc to Admin and Editor default profiles.

Overall I think people will like it. But I am not seeing huge leaps in functionality (not that anyone ever claimed there would be).

One other thing I noticed is that there is a log rotation utility (yea). However it only rotates certain logs and one that does not get rotated (per the manual and confirmed in the GUI) is the servletd_out.log. This was a mistake as if you use SP, you get *lots* of giant java stack errors.

If you are talking about some nuts and bolts functionality (outside of logs, combined UI, desktop application type of UI, true ICE, etc.) then you'll see some real huge changes around Targeting. If you ever did any sort of implementations with pre 7 Targeting, you'll notice that now your options are wide open with no iLog constraints, pretty robust functionality, development is significantly simplified, etc. -- so a big change around Targeting...Also lot of performance related enhancement for SP/LS pages...

You can control that particular item by configuring your log4j.xml file Smiley Very Happy

You're kidding me???? Why the eff did they not include rotation for servletd_out.log???? They never cease to disappoint me....

VP will add more detail I am certain but the Java way of doing things (and these are java errors) is to use log4j.xml

I have noticed that the error log and iwtrace rotation does not work and will need to file a bug on it. Though I have to think that was spotted already
