Information regarding media bin capabilities

jkm

I am going through the Media bin 4.6.2 docs and I have few questions around its capabilities

1) Media bin supports video and audio files but any kind of limitations to manage large number of video and audio files.

2) This is stated in the API guide that media bin can ingest the files from external filesystem. Any details how video file ingestion works for media bin will be useful

3) Can media bin do transcoding of the video files so that data is stored in the compressed format?

4) Any limitations to integrate this with storage systems like Netbackup or Nexsan
