DCR loads blank when connected thru VPN

ratna

When people works from office, the DCR loads fine.
But when they are working thru VPN, the DCR loads with blank content in it.

Then we removed the VFE field from DCT and tried to open the DCR thru VPN.
It loads the DCR fine.

Please reply to this if anybody encountered similar problem and let me know how you fixed it.

Version: TeamSite 6.5.0 Service Pack 3
OS : Solaris

Thanks.

The VFE is an active X control. I am not certain what ports it needs open, but it likely needs one that your VPN does not open.

Likely you do not have many options, if you can find what ports are required (support may be able to tell you) then ask your IT department.

Maybe tinymce can be used instead of VFE. It only needs Javascript enabled.

Could you please tell me how to enable tinymce in Teamsite 6.5 version?
Is that compatible with this version?

Thanks,

Thanks,

TinyMce is not supported in 6.5. As nipper said - you do not have that many options. Contact support

You can't, unless you want to build it.

Upgrade to 6.7 or hope you can open the correct ports (unlikely)
