OD receiver error

I am getting a write error for .dll (binary) files on the receiver side. Here is my config
Base Server - OD 6.2.0 on Win 2003
Receiver - OD 6.2.0 on Win 2008

The same deployment works fine if I try to deploy to Win 2003 receiver. Could it be related to some kind of security settings related to Win 2008? Receiver is behind a firewall and port 20014 is open for inbound traffic.

Here is a snippet from base server micrologs, the same write error also shows up on the receiver logs -

What user is the receiver running as ? Does that user have permission to write to that folder ? Do any deployments work on the 2008 box ?

Deployment user has write access to the target location. Deployments work for other files. It only fails for dll files. I have tried testing with multiple scenarios and it all works except for .dll.

OK, this certainly smells like MS protecting you.

Or maybe your virusscanner?

Errors like that are often due to write-permissions or something like that.
