Customizin TeamSite 6.7.1 SP1 Login page

Nawal

TeamSite : 6.7.1 SP1 build 68040.
OS : SunOS 5.10 Generic_120011-14 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V440

We have to customize the login page for TeamSite. We have to add a custom message on the login page.

On TeamSite 6.7.1, I have edited the /httpd/webapps/content_center/teamsite/auth/login.jsp file and built the toolkit and could get the message on the login page. However when we tried the same on 6.7.1 SP1, this doesn't work.

Please assist to get the customization to work on 6.7.1 SP1.

Regards,
Nawal

An alternative shortcut would be to put your message as a gif called login_splash.gif and using the co branding feature. The steps to enable that are detailed in the UTIK on page 80.

We are using this method and it is very straightforward.
