can two teamsite servers run with the same database schema?

I have TS 671 SP1 connected to db2 schema (tsprodeventsdb).

I will be installing TS 672SP2 on new server, can i configure TS 672SP2 to connect to the same db2 schema (tsprodeventsdb)?
or will each TS instance need its own DB schema?

Never ran into this requirement but it doesn't sound right. You should have two separate schemas even if they are on the same DB server.

This can be done but then managing the DB will be very complicated as both the TS will interact with the same DB.
I hope this is not the requirement.
Making a different schema on the same server will be fine.
