Parse a saved DCR and retrieve all values

What

Hi,

I need to parse a saved DCR and retrieve all the values of various items.
I tried using DOM parser but was not successful.
I need to generate the parse in perl (.ipl) file.
Is there any other approach to do the same?
Is the generated DCR a valid XML file?

My TS version is 6.7.2

One way of doing it using the standard PT tags, if you are using PT.

Or else, there are IW specific perl modules available withing TS.

CRparser - and look very carefully at the documentation for the parse method - report back what you find out to prove you actually read and understood the documentation.

Parser does not read the File, you have to do it yourself. First parameter of the "parse" Method must be String that contains XML to be parsed, not the File Path

Clearly you did not understand what you read - as per the other responses you've gotten that explain it to you

Well, you have one double-backslash and one single-backslash - that's clearly not consistent - I recommend you try using single-forward-slash's instead and see if you get better results (that's assuming that 'new' is actually a DCR or other valid XML) - and then of course comes the question (again) - did you actually read the documentation, or did you just skim it? Because you apparently don't understand what

var='c'

means.

We've pointed you to the water - you still have to try drinking it yourself.
