how to call IPL file using callserver

hi,
I want to call an IPL file using IWDatacapture.callServer.
accordingly i have to give three parameters:
i have written this code:
var server = window.location.hostname;
var params = new Object();
IWDatacapture.callServer("http://"+server+"/iw-

bin/btgsportal/templating/metadata/trydj.ipl",params,true);

Actually i am not getting any error.But the thing i do not understand is that what do i append in the Javascript params object according to my ipl.

** i believe the first code which is for SERVER ADDRESS is allright.

i belive we have to create an object .
Please help me on this...

Why is it that people cannot seem to read documentation?
I'll admit that the IWOV documentation is far from being stellar, but it's always a good place to start and in this case - if you look at page 32 of the 671SP1 FormAPI manual - it shows you what you need to know.
