folder marked for deletion

How to determine if the user's attached a folder which marked for deletion?
I've tried -d does not work. It work if the folder is NOT marked for deletion.
Please advise.

You need to provide more context for the question.
Basically if a directory is marked as deleted, but not yet submitted, the directory will still exist in the staging area. So - if the directory exists in the staging area and not in the workarea it has most likely been deleted.

Another thing you could use is the iwcmp CLT - read the CLT manual for more information about it.
