DAS with email?

Hi Experts,
In our requirement we want to get email notification after the data deploy is made. Can we acheive that using DAS?
when ever DCR is changed, the meta data can be deployed into DB based on TS events(DAS functionality,but email part??). I have gone through the dd_admin guide, but havent found anything. Can you guys please suggest me? Custom work flow does that but we want to acheive through DAS.

We are upgarding and before that we are using WF to do that. For perfomance we want to switch to DAS.

Any help is greatly appreciated?

I don't believe that DAS supports this, however you might be able to create your own DAS-like process by creating iwat trigger scripts for the same events that DAS looks for, and then having the script run the DD process (either directly or within an OD process wrapper) and then send email (either from the script, or from some OD/DNR process).

It's going to be highly customized and potentially highly hackish - but you might be able to pull something off this way.
